The Story Behind Unique

[The Beginning]

It all started with the Playstation 2 back in the day.
I bought my copy back in 2003 from a store called Intertoys, was pretty happy about it. I even bought a lil' yellow Mercedes which I loved and 2 days later, never played with it again... I wish I had a camera to show how fucked up it looks now :D. So I tried the game, thought it was cool. Got pretty good at it for a 11 years old. However, I was pretty noob at first because of the fact that I (serious btw, no lie) was too scared to try out the Career Mode 'cause I used to hate losing like superbad. After like 3 months since I got the game , my sis actually made a savefile and beated Moses. That was kind of my inspiration to eventually complete the game. And I did! - In around 2 months. The hardest race for me was probably Parfait's "Haul", I still think it's the hardest one whenever I play it on my PS2.

[Real Life Friends]

I was around 13, started going to Highschool, lost contact with most of my childhood friends. I told them about the game and asked them to play it with me.  So what I did afterwards is go on my dad's pc and download the Demo version (which was like uber pro at that time, I think I was one of the only ones playing on 1024x768 on PC).

[The Official Beginning]

We're now in 2004, The start of my gaming on PC (Yes, MC2 Demo and NFSU1 Demo were my first games on my dad's PC). I had to get a cool nickname which kinda suited me. So I chose ''Chillin''. I thought It was cool and people kinda liked it, so I was happy with it. The only problem was that my English was still bad at that time. Anyway, I met some cool people like, RaidenEX and 007, Tallinnallige, Shashi and Spyhunter. Now thank god RaidenEX was dutch along with Shashi. I became really great friends with them and we'd always be cruising and racing a lil' bit here and there.

[Introduced To Modding]

One day I saw RaidenEX suddenly driving a Torrida (which is available only for bots in Demo), while I was stuck driving my Monstruo. I asked him how was that possible? Because I just didn't understand that. He showed me some stuff and said that he modded some files in MC2 folder. So he kinda did a sort of an oldskool teamviewer style-thingy, and installed some mods for me. Eventually I was driving LA Cop for the first time and was so amazed by it. I just loved it. Chasing around and stuff. Then Tallinnallige wanted to know how as well, so I showed it to him and installed it for him. Eventually me and Tallin and RaidenEX we're modding like crazy and got booted like bitches all the time. I didn't understand it that time because I thought it was cool to have those mods. After a while my internet was shut down because of my dad, he used to buy so much books about Martial Arts and stuff. We got in debt and I had to take a break from the game. I got my internet shut down @ 27 January 2005, I still remember that day.. Fuckin' bullshit.. It took about 1 year to get the internet back. Got it back around 28th of February 2006.

[Returning To MC2 After a 1 Year Break]

Eventually I got my contact back with RaidenEX, he told me that there are mods that would let you play MC2 Full instead using the MC2 Demo ''.exe'', I tried it and it was a complete new community. But after a while RaidenEX left the game, so me and Spyhunter decided that we need a new nickname to start in MC2 Full, so I chose Street Shredder and he used Spyhunter (I don't remember his old name on MC2 Demo sadly, but I still have contact with him). Anyway, I was actually driving the cars I used to drive on my Playstation 2. So I tried progressing with them and eventually beat the game on the PC as well. As the time went by my PC was getting outdated, and soon everyone was suddenly faster than me on my 1024x768 @ 30 fps. So what I tried to do is progress on my biking skills which I had from driving on mc2 demo with Cohete. So Nousagi became my vehicle in 2006. I started joining my friend's host; Neo with his Knight and met some cool people like XxIceboyxX in his Torque JX and Volky on his bike, as well as some other russians who were pretty good at racing. I learned some basics and their driving routes, because I always thought that just stepping on the gas like a crazy ass would make you win. So I actually never really used the brake until 2007.

[Times Are Passing]

In 2006 I was cruising like the old days, RaidenEX and everyone else quitted the game, I was pretty fed up about it. I started joining some other cruises and met people like TR Lan, TR Cat, Gangsta and Nightmare from MC2 Demo. I started making friends pretty much everywhere, both in Cruise and in Racing. That was the time I started getting my place in the MC2 Full community.

[Clans]

One day I talked to Lan a.k.a WhiTePeArL (who recently came back) and we started this clan called MTR. Midnight Team Racing (I really had to think hard what it actually meant but I'm sure it's that). This was my first actual clan I was in. We had like 3 members in it, Me, Lan, and an Estonian guy... Can't remember his name, sadly.

[Sharing My Knowledge]

Because of Gangsta (JTX Redline) I met many other people like SinMod and saw that mods were kinda coming back to MC2, like how the hype was in MC2 Demo back in 2004. Anyway, I got my new PC, but I was pretty noob at them and got my neighbour's 1997 one, so I was back to 640x480 @ 25 fps. It didn't really matter that much to me, but it did suck compared to my old PC. Eventually I saw potential talent in Gangsta, racing wise. With my experience I made while playing with Neo and XxIceBoyxX I teached him the cornering basics in Paris, since you got wide streets there. I got pretty good friends with him so I wouldn't give up on him. One day I tried to teach him this corner in Paris, and just told him to evade my SLF450x which was blocking him in the corner, while I was moving back & forth. We actually did this like all night long, that was like one of the first allnighters I've done in MC2 full. I've been training him like that until he got a headache. The point of that was to teach him how to make the basic fishtail movement, I saw him progressing more and more, then I told him to try Lusso XT since fishtailing is easy on it. After that he didn't seem to want to drive any other car cause he loved the fact that he could keep 249 mph stable with it. I had to force him to get back to Veloci 24/7 and with hard complaining, he did it.

[Back To The Roots]

I got bored and sick of this 25 FPS, cause I even couldn't keep up with Redline anymore. I just quitted MC2 Full and went back to Demo. The community however there wasn't changed at all, just new names, new modders and new clans. I made my own clan called JTX. I went under the name of "JTX DriFTKinG X'' (Tokyo Drift was out around this time... lol.. :D)
I told Redline to come join me in MC2 Demo. Eventually me and Redline were kicking noob asses in MC2 Demo! Playing clean against modders and random people that used stealth and shit in CTF. It was fun, however...

[PC Died Again, FML]

Yes, you can read the title, my neighbour's 1997 PC eventually died as well.
I couldn't really play MC2 anymore, was lucky to play it like 3x in 4 months. My mom advised me to go to this friend of her which was good at PCs. He gave me a replacement for free. The only problem was this computer was similar to the old PC, It had a 16mb gfx card. The only game I could play was GTA 1. So I said fuck it, I'll go play chatting games then. Met new people and kinda forgot about MC2 and its players. I couldnt even go on MSN or my PC would just simply die.

[New Setup, New Minds]

So back in late 2009 I got a new computer. I was like the memories of this game's menu music, I was like... I can't go on MTR Shredder again. So what I tried to do was get a new nickname and just join any host to see what's up. So I went under the name ''Unique''. Done some races, got bored of it cause most people used Modern Edition + Trainers. That was the time I actually started joining CTF hosts, which I was pretty scared of, because I know these guys were serious CTF freaks who don't like noobs (that's what I literally thought of those people).

[Introduced To CTF]

My CTF Career started here after winning 1 of my first games against Redline. I started progressing, thanks to Sata & Lord, who actually inspired me to play CTF more, cause I had a lot of potential, as they said so.

Today me and Redline have our old team revived and we're still runnin' strong.

JTX ya later.

Unique.

P.S I actually wanted to add pictures, but I really cba. It took 1 hour to write.
