2016 Status
Hey guys!
I guess I've been procrastinating this post for a few weeks.. Well okay, I lied. Probably a few months...or..well.. Around 6/7 months I guess. But it has came to this point that I cannot deny it anymore.
First of all..CONGRATULATIONS!
''Congratulations'', you ask? Yeah, congratulations..
This year it has been official the JTX team has existed literately which is really fucking amazing for 10 years!
That's pretty amazing considered that people actually know the letters J-T-X together for an easy 10 years. I remember the very first time I decided to make something on my own as LAN at the time left to SAMP in mid 2006. I was still playing MC2 Full at the time, but this was at the time that as you may have read from the autobiography I've wrote that I ragequitted from MC2 Full and went back to MC2 Demo and basically asked my best friend Gangsta to join me. It's funny because I sort of remember that exact same conversation we had. We were sort of cruising around in the LA Industrial area and we were just brainstorming on what we could pick and in the end I came up with Just The Xtreme. It's a bit of a joke because if you'd pick a nickname it would be the most ''xtreme'' version of, well you. So I went by JTX DriFTKinG X. That would mean that i'm the most xtreme driftking there is around. Fun and good times. It's pretty amazing that in that time we we're beating overclockers with amd single core processors and people who've modded in CTF and so on. And I was always the one who dominated that Freeway Rally race and Runoff on a Cohete.
It's really cool cause it was the time when I first learned that Monstruo race on MC2 that I've actually downloaded my very first recognized D'n'B song at the time. I was browsing around in Ares (downloading program, i.e Limewire, Kazaa) and just looked at genres and picked Drum and Bass and downloaded that. The song is better known as Noisia - Block Control. And I always drove in this song with that Monstruo LAX race. And just purely dominated every single time. JTX was starting to become a understanding. That people knew that the duo at the time were serious feared players. Well atleast I experienced it like that. I gotta say I have some proper good memories of this time that wasn't actually told in that autobiography, but I wasn't trying to bore you guys out hehe.
All I can say is that JTX was a big name and probably at an very important time. However JTX wasn't actually made in MC2 Demo at first. I kind of remembered that wrong because I used to drive on the name ''MTR Shreddy JTX''. And then 2 weeks later or so I ragequitted and then moved to MC2 Demo.
But i'm not going to write another biography here. I just think that in the end we were feared and recognized in everything we played. Sure, I couldn't play every game the other JTX members played like for example ''NFS World''. I really hadn't had a chance at that time to play this. But you know the most amazing thing that I want to mention is that we we're recognized for being something. And that's what cool if you put in effort in something so small as a duo of two players at first.
However we didn't stay a duo for long. After my pc eventually died off in 2007. So did the duo in a way. But the cool thing when I basically came back in 2009. I was inmediately asked to join oP (old Pals), and I did!
However this didn't last long aswell so I suggested we picked up where we left off and started JTX again. And ever since we got more members in with all their own individuality. Members like eXuma, Nace, Shifter and Togica. They all had their own strength in a way. I always liked eXuma's versatility which she always used. Nace is known for his calm yet aggressive driving style. Shifter for his calculation of things and speed. Redline of course for his adaptability in things and Togica for his quality and complexity. And all of that formed a real strong team. And of course as of late we have Tatyana added into the team to make this team complete. I'm very proud on all of us. I truly wish I could still have that title I always had which was the ''Best low FPS driver'' but that is no more. I came to a point that I drive the same on every computer the only difference is that I can accelerate a bit faster, but my randomness and aggressiveness are no different on anything and I kinda am like that in every game I play. Whether it's SAMP, GTA V, shooters, you name it. I guess you could say that for what we are known now and known for and maybe before (?) that you can't really describe what JTX truly is or can be.
That uniqueness to this team is what makes it special and I can round that up to one sentence. ''We're just a team of fine drivers''. It's so simple and so effective at the same time because you know that truly was the whole point of this team. Just a group of friends who all drive fine in their own ways and styles. That alone made this team to be alive for this long. I'm afraid to say that if you've read the story correctly is that you can acknowledge that it just isn't anymore. Prior to Redline leaving earlier for unknown reasons which until this day I still do not know because well technically I don't have contact with him anymore because at some point I sort of stopped caring and so did he so he just left without saying a word. And well you know me being the calm person as I am. I respect that. So I just let him be and carry on. But then when Nace a few weeks after left the same way. That intrigued me, because that showed that everyone at some point just stopped caring. And well knowing how old Midnight Club 2 actually is that's insane. Go think about it. This game is clearly 13 years old. If you see some kid on a bike right now when you're outside. They were rolling in a babychair when you first started the game and this team is 10 years old... That's truly incredible and incredibly weird at the same time.
All I can say I was happy to be part of something I created with my team-members. Current and old that it felt good to be here. That's something to be acknowledged with. So with that being said. JTX is no more and maybe sometime in the future all the old members that I've mentioned will come together one day and dominate in all our special own styles and ways and show how ''fine'' we drove. But this is not the end of a chapter. It's just a new start.
So, just how I end up every post I've ever posted: JTX ya later.

Hello sir,
ReplyDeleteJust finished reading all of this and i litteraly had to take a moment to let it sink in. I will start with saying that i'm happy to have been part of JTX for all these years. I'm currently writing this while remembering all the good times we had couple of years back. I'd like to think that we go "way" back since through out the years we had some amazing contact. Although it was less at some point because of different tastes. But i guess that's life. All there is left to say now is: You do you. Maybe we will speak eachother from time to time :).
P.S: To Redline and Nace:
Also thanks for everything through out the years. Learned and laughed alot. Good luck with everything.
P.S.S: Not sure if Nace really did leave. Last time i booted up MC2 Online was ~2 months ago and he was still rocking the JTX Tag. Might be different now. In that case you can disregard this comment.
- Togica
Nace did leave. 2 months ago was actually my last attempt to get the team driving together again. But he left a month or so after this. Well atleast off the site. So I think I know enough, it's cool yknow but whatever it is what it is.
