News & News & News.
Well well well.. It's official.
Everybody currently in JTX is now 20 years old.
(Except for Andrius of course..:])
Guess that means there's a party for all of us.
Congrats to Nace & Redline this month!
Best of regards to them :)
Also if I checked correct it's currently been 7 days ago since the first blog-post and the blog itself was made by me 2 years ago! Weeehoo.
I also got some news about Midnight Club 2 and the status at the moment.
As many of you guys know, I, Unique am not really possible to play with everyone at the moment.. I can't even play with the other JTX's, but that's all old news now since i'm probably getting new internet in the next 2 days.
But I'm still not sure how it will react.. At least i'll have a more stable connection instead of 100-800ms changes. It's so weird. Anyway eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey fuck it! :D
Congrats to the blog and the many many support, even though we know nobody really comments on the blog. We do know that the blog is being watched regularly and so on.
Unique.
Oh yeah, something stupid to look at of course.

S13 - Perfection Perfected
What's up everyone! It's been a while.
Well, after finishing the Skyline project I thought I'd give my all time favorite car a try - Nissan Silvia S13! I was pretty surprised that I could actually finish the project within a week, while the Skyline took me over 4 months. I know that sounds crazy, but that's how much time you can save once you get hang of the software!
Spiced up with an Supermade/Instant Gentleman bodykit and a set of Borbet A's, the beauty might be rigged and used for some real action!
Stay tuned. ;)

SKYLINE GTR [JTX Style]
G'day,
I am proud to announce that the long awaited Skyline project is finally here! After several full-rebuilds, tons of wasted testing purpose megabytes, and days of rendering, it's finally made it to the daylight. This is actually my first successful attempt at modeling, so any enthusiasts out there, keep it in mind before judging. :) No blueprints have been used, this was built completely from scratch. If by any chance you're a JDM fan, you should notice the car has influences from several Skyline models, including R32, R33, R34 and R35!
Oh! And here's a little preview video:
Any kind of feedback is as usual more than appreciated!

A Few Glances of the Wangan Midnight Project
Hi hello everyone, it has been a while now since I last made a post.
So, I guess it was time to make a update.
Like I've said earlier, the Wangan plan is going to happen officially.
So I'm going to release a custom pack and an actual car to get used to the feeling. I will make readme's and other shizzle for you to check out. It's all detailed about car specs and actual driving routes in the custom pack itself which i will make later.
My advice would be just to try it out and check what you can do.
Also, Of course it would be weird if i'd give an custom pack without an car.
So I quickly tuned one in about..hmm.. 30-40~ mins or so.
I decided to try and mod the Saikou XS, hence it's not being used for anything at the moment, and the original car's handling is more then great for driving with an mouse if you want to learn the basics. (Or gamepad/steering-wheel of course.)
Now.
The cars that we're currently using are Saikou, Tokyo Cop, Lusso XT, Victory, Knight and now Saikou XS. (Some models have been replaced)
Here are some of the downloads:
http://www.4shared.com/rar/NysAiQwn/JZA80.html? <-- The Actual Supra.
http://www.4shared.com/rar/27dH49hj/Wangan_Profile.html? The Profile. (Beginners, driving on normal side etc)
I have a professional profile in LA Paris and Tokyo.. But i'll put it up later cause some tracks are too long to be made in 1 day.. with the temptations of the internet :A..
(Personally I'm not going to explain how to install and shit cause we're in 2012.. Anyone can mod now. Official moment, ya rili.)
This will be updated later with a readme, and driving techniques.
Unique.
P.S You might notice this car is limited to 220 mph instead of 230, It's just to make shit less intense so you can learn how to drive.
[Edit #1:]
http://www.4shared.com/office/a6VSKezZ/readme.html? <-- Updated readme.
http://www.4shared.com/rar/6iWlb4GQ/JZA80_v12.html? <-- New AB-Flug Supra.
(Faster top speed and little bit more boost, but still low boosted)
And what the heck let me put the tokyo cop here too:

Have fun.

GS300 VIP v1.0 [Public]
After having received quite a lot of positive feedback and people wanting to try out the car used in our DRIFTSHOW 2010 movie, we've decided to put it up on public for people to download! :)
Installing it is simple, just make sure you have your assets_p.dat extracted and then simply drag and drop the files provided in archive to each folder.
EDIT:
A quick tutorial on how to install this:
EDIT #2:

EDIT:
A quick tutorial on how to install this:
- Download this tool: http://www.mediafire.com/?58y00r4ba3y114d (credits go to LV Volk), put the ar_extract.exe you'll find inside to your MC2 directory.
- Drag and drop your assets_p.dat on ar_extract.exe, it will start extracting.
- Once it's done you can delete assets_p.dat, after extraction your assets_p files will be placed in a folder, make sure you take the files from there and put them to your MC2 directory, your game folder should now look something like this: http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/6119/mc2folder.jpg
- Replace your mc2.exe with this one: http://www.mediafire.com/?ximhzana35gheum
- You can now replace the car files.
- Get a complete savegame either by completing the game yourself, downloading a complete savegame, or entering a cheatcode "rimbuk" in the cheatcode section found in MC2 Options.
- Look for Lusso XT, that's the car you have replaced.
- Enjoy!
EDIT #2:
Known bugs:
- The car often flips on sidewalks at high framerates, it is recommended to play at 60-100 fps.

DRIFTSHOW 2010
Hello world! We're proud to present you our yet another team movie! This time GS300 VIP drifting style!
It all started back in 2010, when we were at what you could call today, the JTX peak. We had so many ideas and projects going on, that we didn't even know where to start. Only a tiny bit made it to the surface today. For instance, the JTX Garage was supposed to be a part of our Wangan Midnight project, as a part of it, the Lusso XT used in this video was actually being tuned for high speed highway racing. After a little bit of tweaking we noticed that it had a decent potential in drifting, and we took it out on the track. Not too long after that I came up with an idea to make a short trailer/preview-like video. We basically shot the footage and just moved on with the rest of the project. The clips were left untouched for years, highly compressed and stored in archives, uploaded, redownloaded multiple times (that's the reason some clips have artifacts). Recently, I decided to give it another shot as my team just couldn't give up the idea. And here's the result! :)

Wangan Midnight Skyline GT-R [Teaser]
Remember the very first post on this blog where Unique mentioned we'd be doing a Wangan Midnight project in MC2? Well if you've made it to this blog, you should know what do you eat it with.
A very light modification of the in-game Lancer was shown, I basically started by just changing the bodycolor, then eventually manipulating with different rims on it. That's pretty much where the entire idea started.
After looking at different cars from the game we came up with a list of cars we would be modifying for the project, Torque JX was our first victim.
Changelog:
Keep it in mind that this is Midnight Club II, a 2003 game where you get highly limited due to the age of game engine, so I couldn't go any further than that, else the car simply wouldn't blend in the game anymore.
A revealed version will be posted soon, hopefully with in-game screenshots.
Stay tuned. ;)
